Description

The Senior Benefits Coordinator (SBC-HR) will provide HR service to corporate HR functions reporting to the Senior Manager, Benefits and HRIS. The SBCHR will assist the HR department in carrying out programs, processes, policies and procedures; including duties related to culture enhancement, HRIS life-cycle updates, benefit and leave of absence administration, record keeping, employee file maintenance, and compliance with state and federal employment laws. The incumbent will perform daily tactical and administrative employee life-cycle functions, under the direction of the HR leadership, and will communicate closely with HR leadership to ensure adherence to policies and consistency with past practices. The SBCHR will file employee records in accordance with employment regulations; assist in scheduling of HR-related meetings; reconcile insurance billings; work with payroll for employee related activities, assist in distributions and employee events; perform HRIS employee updates within the system; manage cabinet and office keys, security fobs, and photo badges; and other related duties. The SBCHR will help with maintenance of HR policies/procedures, confidentiality agreements, employee handbook and job descriptions. Additionally, the SHRBC will assist with special projects for organization-wide HR programs. Job Responsibilities: Reconcile monthly benefits programs eligibility, enrollment, and billings. Coordinate benefit qualifying events/changes. Manage the leaves for employees in the Madison, Phoenix and Austin offices along with the remote employees. Manage all the employee life cycle events in the HRIS. Coordinate with payroll for employee leaves & benefit administration. Coordinate with managers so all the employee status change information is added to the company intranet site (Compass) and follow up directly with the managers. Manage cabinet and office keys, security fobs, and photo badges. Update in the HRIS with employee certifications. Assist with HR special projects and employee events. Coordinate open enrollment cycle. Perform and maintain secure HR employee records filing. Gather and create documentation for Affirmative Action and EEO-1 annual reports. Assist with preparation and maintenance of employee handbook, policies/procedure, confidentiality agreements and job descriptions. Participate in team building activities and company sponsored events. Participate in process improvement activities and work in conjunction with HR team to build and enhance HR processes. Coordinate and updating and maintenance of HR documents and systems as directed. Other related duties as assigned. Experience: Minimum of three years' experience as an administrative professional preferred. Knowledge of general human resource programs, policies, and procedures related to employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting and understanding of state and federal laws related to employment practice strongly desired. Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skill required. Knowledge of / experience with HRIS products is strongly preferred: ADP Workforce Now or other ADP HRIS products are very helpful.
