Salary: $130k to $135k/Annum + Benefits



Job Description:



Develop and configure APIs with a 3 rd party.



Consultants should know how APIs work, API principles, and how to configure and use APIs.



Previous API Dev and configuration experience required. A mid to Sr level API Developer should know how to configure APIs.



Provide support to Salesforce Developers.



Setting up Apigee Gateways



Client uses Apigee as API Gateway.



Apigee skills develop proxies that consume APIs. Policy creation experience



Backend APIs configuring, not developing.



SOAP / REST REST is the modern. Preference with REST.



Both SOAP and REST available but preference is REST.



Client has a lot of C# apps so C# would be preferable. However, other languages ok if they know Apigee. Need to know the concepts and security.



Sr Engineer who has done it and self-starter.



80% configuration. 20% debugging errors with vendors.



API Governance inside client and API Security will need to review, validate, and confirm build is secure based on standards.



Will also work with Salesforce Devs.



Cloud: Azure CI/CD being used, but other Clouds ok. Azure or GCP.



Scripting: no required.



Postman for testing APIs
