Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Dev Ops including development, QA, automation, and culture.
- Assist team members with building, hosting, and deploying cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with team members to define architecture and optimize performance.
- Oversee migration of remaining internally-hosted applications to AWS.
- Lead technical evaluation of new technologies and tools.
- Serve as a liaison between Dev Ops teams, senior leadership team, and vendors.
- Build a culture of learning where it’s safe to fail, fail fast, learn from it, and improve.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years experience.
- Extensive experience of Linux administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong programming ability in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc).
- 5+ years experience with a major orchestration technology (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc).
- 3+ years experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Strong faith in Jesus Christ.
- Championing Seed Company's Core Values, Mission and Vision.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership as well as management or supervision.
