Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Engineering/Computer Science)

10+ years of hands-on experience managing Databases (Oracle, MongoDB, MariaDB, SQL), ETL frameworks (PL/SQL, Ab Initio, Informatica)

Demonstrated SQL and Oracle L3/ SWAT Performance tuning experience

Wide ranging AIX troubleshooting and tuning experience including but not limited to memory/OS/Kernel parameters

Strong experience in monitoring and logging tools across Database, Unix, Storage and Network like AppDynamics, OEM, Splunk etc

Basic understanding of network topologies and concepts

Automation advocate with coding experience

Strong written and communication skills

Strong understanding of database architecture concepts, common preferred architectural patterns, and ability to document roadmaps.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as an SRE.

Experience of working with Global teams preferred.

Understanding of the Card /Banking Industry.
