Mechanic Laborer



Staff Perm is hiring a Mechanic Laborer to support our customer an Elevator Servicing company. The work will be at the DFW Airport. The individual will have to pass background, finger printing and badging requirements to work at the Airport.



As a mechanic laborer you will work under a Sr. Mechanic and will assist in the installation of all types of elevator and escalator equipment. Opportunities are in Service, Mod/Repair and Construction.



LOCATION: DFW Airport



POSITION: Contract



SHIFT: 6:00am -2:00pm



POSITIONS: 2



PAY: $19.00 hour 



BENEFITS: PTO, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Term Life, Short Term Disability etc.



Must be able to pass a drug and background check as well as badging requirements to work at DFW International Airport.



No felony or drug charges allowed to clear TSA Background Screening



Responsibilities:



Typical Job Site/Maintenance duties



Unloading Equipment



Reviewing Blueprints for Installation/Troubleshooting



Coordinating/Maintaining schedule with other mechanics and GC.



Attending safety meetings on site



Qualifications:



Previous experience as a mechanic



Knowledge of different types of Equipment



Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills



Deadline and detail-oriented



Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment



Ability to work well with others
