Corporate & Business Transactional Attorney - Lateral Partner
Location: Hybrid – Bethesda, MD (with additional offices in the region)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Partner, Corporate & Business Transactions to join our firm in a hybrid capacity based out of our Silver Spring, Maryland office. This role is ideal for a senior transactional attorney with a demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships while advising businesses on complex commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities
Originate and manage a portfolio of business clients
Advise clients on a broad range of transactional matters, including:
Mergers and acquisitions
Business formation and restructuring
Commercial contracts and agreements
Real estate transactions (asset acquisitions, leasing, dispositions)
Lead transactions from structuring through closing
Collaborate with other partners and practice groups to cross-sell services
Mentor associates and contribute to practice growth initiatives
Qualifications
Active bar admission in the State of Maryland (required) 10+ years of experience practicing corporate and/or business transactional law Demonstrated history of originating revenue and developing client relationships Portable book of business of $200,000+ strongly preferred Substantial experience in one or more of the following:
Mergers & acquisitions
Business formation and governance
Commercial transactions
Real estate transactions
Strong business development mindset and client-service orientation
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
