Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the development of site drainage, grading, and utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3 D and/or Microstation.
Develop pipe networks and pressure pipe networks using Autodesk Civil 3 D.
Collaborate with team members to produce site plans, detailed engineering drawings, profiles, construction drawings, and details.
Convert field survey data into topographic survey drawings and surfaces suitable for producing site plans and construction drawings.
Apply intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and corporate policies and procedures.
Stay updated with industry knowledge and technology trends.
Ensure work product complies with the company quality program.
Interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.
Understand basic construction and constructability practices and principles.
Intermediate knowledge of basic engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to the assigned engineering discipline.
Required Software Competencies:
Autodesk Civil 3 D
Bentley Micro Station (2 D/3 D)
Autodesk Auto CAD
Bluebeam
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Civil design/site layout using Civil 3 D and/or Micro Station.
Diploma or Certificate preferred; Associate degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Typically, 2+ years of related work experience.
