We are currently seeking a Collections Manager to join our team. We are seeking an individual with a professional, positive mindset that can build rapport with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Generate weekly reports to track unpaid customer accounts
- Make daily phone calls and send delinquent letters to customers who are behind on payments
- Advise and follow-up with customers on unpaid accounts
- Conduct thorough account research to understand customer credit history
- Initiate repossession proceedings
- Keep records and status of customer's account
- Build rapport with customers who have become delinquent and assist them in developing a plan to bring accounts to current status
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in debt collections
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of relevant computer programs such as MS office, Windows PC and web-based applications
