Construction Laborer

$18.00 - $26.00 Hourly

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Construction Laborer to assist our skilled carpenter on commercial, residential, hospitality remodeling and restoration projects . This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn and grow within the construction industry, working on a variety of projects, including select residential renovations and hospitality spaces like hotels. Travel is required for national projects at times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the carpenter with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finish work.
• Handle tools and materials, including setup, transport, and cleanup at project sites.
• Support the installation of acoustical ceilings, cabinetry, trim, and other carpentry tasks.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials as needed under supervision.
• Perform basic demolition and site preparation for remodels and restorations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow directions from the carpenter and project supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Travel to job sites as required, both in-state and nationally.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Some experience in construction or willingness to learn on the job.
• Familiarity with basic tools and equipment (hammers, saws, drills, etc.).
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
• Commitment to safety practices and guidelines.
• Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects as needed.
• Current valid drivers' license and the ability to operate motor vehicles

Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Continuous lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
