Cost Specialist

As a Cost Specialist, you'll transform data into actionable insights, ensuring our utility and renewable energy projects stay on schedule, on budget, and built for long-term success.
Onsite: Monday Friday, with ~15% domestic travel Location: QISG Denver Office 1050 17th St, Denver, CO 80265
What You'll Do
Own the numbers Track, analyze, and forecast costs, budgets, and financial trends across multi-year EPC infrastructure projects.
Be a strategic partner Collaborate with Project Managers, Operations Directors, and technical teams to align financials with project objectives.
Manage change proactively Monitor cost deviations, changes, and risks to address challenges before they impact the project.
Tell the story Produce clear, actionable cost reports and dashboards in Power BI (or similar) for leadership and stakeholders.
Strengthen controls Support Project Controls Execution Plans and ensure compliance with company standards from day one.
Make your mark Act as the trusted cost advisor on high-impact EPC projects, driving data-informed decisions. What You'll Bring
16 years of experience in cost management and project controls for EPC projects
Skilled in forecasting, cost control, change management, and risk analysis
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for project teams and leadership
Proficient with JDE, Eco Sys, Procore, Excel, and Power BI
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience
Willing to travel up to 15% domestically What You'll Get

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $73,600.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
