Job Description:



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Architect who specializes in designing solutions with various databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), query engines, and semantic layers.



The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data architecture principles and the ability to provide a unified business intelligence solution for various customers.



Proficiency in the latest data mesh technology is essential for this role.



As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable data architectures that meet the needs of our diverse client base.



Responsibilities:



Design and develop data architectures that encompass various databases (SQL or NoSQL).



Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.



Lead the implementation of data mesh technology (query engines, semantic layers, data catalog) to create a scalable and decentralized data ecosystem.



Design and implement data architectures leveraging Edge-based Distributed Data Systems



Develop and maintain best practices and standards for data architecture, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.



Provide technical guidance and mentorship to data engineers and software engineers to implement the solution.



Design and optimize data models to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.



Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies, including data quality, data lineage, and metadata management.



Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of data architecture and BI.



Identify opportunities to enhance existing data architectures and continuously improve processes and systems.



Requirements:



Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.



Proven experience (at least 8-10 years) as a Data Architect or in a similar role.



Strong expertise in designing solutions with various databases (SQL or NoSQL) and query engines.



In-depth understanding of data mesh principles and experience implementing data mesh technology in real-world scenarios.



Good understanding and experience with Edge-based Distributed Data Systems



Hands-on experience with designing and implementing BI reporting and analytics solutions.



Proficient in data modeling techniques and tools.



Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.



Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data requirements.



Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.



Self-motivated and proactive in staying updated with the latest advancements in data architecture and BI technologies.



Preferred Qualifications:



Experience in implementing data architectures for large-scale, multi-tenant environments.



Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.



Certification in data architecture or related fields.
