PGS Worldwide is seeking an Electrical Assembler to support production efforts for high-impact aerospace and defense programs. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with a mechanical or electrical assembly background who thrive in a structured, team-oriented manufacturing environment. You'll play a vital part in assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of mission-critical hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly for aerospace hardware according to engineering specifications and program requirements.
Use basic tools, equipment, and pallet jacks to carry out assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
Support production by lifting, positioning, and handling parts and subassemblies weighing up to 30 pounds (and assist with lifting up to 70 pounds as needed).
Follow standard work procedures, safety protocols, and quality control guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and leads to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) years of High School or Trade School education.
Ability to read and follow written instructions and assembly drawings.
Comfortable lifting and assisting with loads of up to 70 pounds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and operate pallet jacks.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in electrical or mechanical assembly is a plus.
Aerospace, defense, or manufacturing background preferred but not required.
