Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (Bilingual)

Location: New York, NY 10038

Pay Rate: $52.00/hr to $57.00/hr

Shift: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

2+ Months (Contract) with possible extension

Duties:

• Assisting clients in receiving services by telephone and in person.
• Getting clients involved in beneficial activities.
• Assessing clients and gathering relevant information.
• Offering information and supporting clients and their families.
• Contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.
• Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
• Participating in training, supervision, and meetings.
• Watch for signs of child abuse.
• Provide crisis intervention.

Skills Required:

• Master’s in social work (required).
• NYS LMSW license (required).
• Previous hospital Social Work exp (preferred).
• Bilingual Chinese or Spanish (preferred).
• Good interviewing skills & ability to use good judgment & make decisions quickly (required).
• Cast management exp (preferred).
• Allscripts referral management & transportation setup. Familiar with psychiatric/paediatric population.
• Familiar w/ EPIC EMR.
