Pharmacy Techniciansat St. Luke's enjoy opportunities to excel, grow, and be challenged in their careers across our health system in the Treasure Valley, from Boise to Fruitland.

Our Inpatient Pharmacies include Medical Center Inpatient, Cancer Institute, and Infusion Center pharmacies.

Inpatient Pharmacy Techsprepare and compound medications for our admitted patients, deliver throughout the hospital, and prepare pharmaceutical kits - all while working with our nursing staff to meet patients' needs.

Cancer Institute Pharmacy Techsprepare oncology medications in a cleanroom, purchase medications, and clean and stock the pharmacy.

Infusion Center Pharmacy Techsassist patients in and out of the clinic, take vitals, and prepare IV medications.

Our Retail Pharmacies include Medical Center Retail, Home Delivery, and Clinic-based pharmacies, and pharmacy programs such as Med Locker and Meds-to-Beds.

Retail Pharmacy Techniciansprepare and deliver our patients' medications, submit insurance claims, input prescription data, coordinate med-syncing, and assist our patients in person and over the phone.

Medication Locker Techniciansprepare and deliver medications to medication lockers located in St. Luke’s facilities and throughout the community, and communicate with patients when prescriptions are ready for pick up at their convenience.

Meds-to-Beds Technicians fill take-home medications for our pharmacists to deliver bedside to our patients prior to discharge, which helps with medication adherence and eliminates the need for a stop on their way home.

What You Can Expect

Full-time, part-time, and flex hours available

Work 8- or 10-hour shifts

Schedules for our pharmacies can be variable, including Saturday and/or Sunday rotations; Monday-Friday days; or nights

Receive shift differential pay;certification pay for PTCB Adv. Certification; preceptor pay

Work in a variety of dynamic environments with other interdepartmental disciplines

Learn and expand your pharmacy skills with opportunities to advance into leadership and pharmacy business positions

Work at the top of your license

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Idaho pharmacy technician License

Preferred Qualifications

Two (2) + years' experience
