Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and visionary Mechanical Technical Lead with expertise in thermal management to spearhead the development of advanced cooling solutions for electronic systems. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor a team of five engineers (with potential for team expansion) while actively contributing to solving intricate thermal challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership: Oversee and guide the team in designing and implementing advanced thermal management solutions for electronics, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Hands-On Contribution: Actively participate in solving complex thermal issues, including modeling, simulation, and validation of designs using tools like Cosmos, Ansys, or other thermal simulation platforms.

- System Design: Develop and optimize cooling solutions such as liquid cooling systems for electronic components, including inverters and RF amplifiers.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless integration of thermal designs into product development cycles.

- **Innovation: Drive research and development efforts, exploring novel technologies and methodologies for advanced cooling applications.

- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering professional growth and ensuring project milestones are met.

- Project Execution: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring the successful delivery of thermal solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience may be considered).

- Strong expertise in thermal management, including hands-on experience with Cosmos, Ansys, or other thermal simulation tools.

- Proven track record of designing and implementing cooling solutions for electronics, including liquid cooling systems.

- Solid understanding of thermal analysis and optimization principles for high-performance electronic devices.

- Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and grow a team while maintaining a hands-on approach to technical challenges.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment while maintaining precision and focus.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with power electronics or RF systems.

- Familiarity with ITAR regulations and compliance in technical design

- Background in advanced materials for thermal applications.
