Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Analyst & Network Manager to join our Network Operations team. This is a monitoring-focused role, and an ideal candidate will be responsible for the ongoing operational health of the CLIENT’s production trading networks and associated monitoring tools.
This position involves monitoring high-performance trading network infrastructure and conducting performance analysis and alert investigations in a mission-critical environment. It will require coordination with cross-functional teams, including Network Engineering, Trading Help Desk, System Operations, and Software Development.
Skills & Qualifications: (Manager Level)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a network operations or monitoring-focused role; financial services preferred.
- Strong understanding of network communication protocols , particularly in low-latency environments.
- Experience working with TAP aggregation , command-line device access , and root cause analysis tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux network stack , packet analysis , and market data feeds (FIX, OPRA, CTS).
- Ability to lead cross-functional troubleshooting and manage large-scale infrastructure visibility.
Skills & Qualifications: (Analyst Level)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in network operations or monitoring (preferably in financial services).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, Multicast , and protocol analysis using tools like Wireshark .
- Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Firewalls, Arista switches , and F5 load balancers .
- Comfortable using the Linux command line and network stack.
- NOC or customer support experience is a plus.
- Exposure to financial trading environments, FIX protocol, or market data feeds is a plus.
