Description

Business Services Specialist

Support the day-to-day operations for client in Princeton, NJ and Rockville, MD.

Location: Hybrid-in the office 2-3 days a week.

* Contract Length: 1 year

* Weekly Commitment: 40 hours

* Target Start Date: ASAP

* Resource Selection Process: 1 Panel screen

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES



* Partner with business leaders and their teams to understand Business strategy, products, processes, and systems.

* Gain an understanding of key business initiatives and anticipate the future needs of their team.

* Collaborate with other Business Services Associates and functional areas (Travel, Finance, IT, Contract Administration, etc.) to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, to prioritize key business activities and develop solutions

* Develop and maintain strong, credible relationships across business units and deliver business results

* Respond to changing situations and encourage and help others to do the same

* Manage conflicting priorities and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment

* Independently resolve moderately complex problems and issues under general supervision using appropriate judgment, discretion, and knowledge

* Manage all operational detail and issues independently-take ownership for completion

* Lead or participate in complex projects and support departmental initiatives.

* Engage with managers and staff members to maintain complete and accurate records for multiple projects. Track and report on progress of projects/initiatives.

* Responsible for managing and completing all required contracts, purchase orders and SOPs.

* Analyze processes and controls within the department to ensure efficiency. Provide data, reports and analyses

* Track, organize and maintain company/operational databases.

* Responsible for all document management for the department. Maintain confidential records and files.

* Manage all internal communications channels including websites and SharePoint.

* Coordinate logistics for training initiatives, large event coordination and planning.

* Act as the liaison with vendors. Managing and coordinating all requests for information.

* Support department with all product launches.

* Maintain departmental budgets.

* Depending upon the position up to 20% of time could include direct administrative tasks including heavy calendar management, complex international and domestic travel arrangements, expense reporting, prepare and manage all aspects of meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for this position, the applicant must meet the minimum qualifications. Deviations to this requirement must be approved by the Compensation Manager or Vice President of Human Resources.

EDUCATION Bachelor's degree required

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

* Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, Corporate environment

* Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry preferred

KNOWLEDGE

COMPUTER SKILLS

* High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite applications; tech savvy, strong computer skills
