Skills Required -



We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Business Systems Analyst (in either SD/MM or Finance domain), to expand our



ERP Integrations group who will work closely to develop and support our ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integrations with SAP.



Your key responsibility will be to translate requirements into functional designs, SAP configurations, or functional specifications for



ABAP   developers   to   use.     You   will   be   supporting   the   tax   integration   processes   between   the   ONESOURCE   Indirect   Tax



Determination and SAP. You will work with both internal and external parties (consulting and implementation partners, customers



and prospects) to develop integration solutions, implementation strategies, training materials and best practices. You will provide



expertise to transform customer-provided and internally-generated business needs and requirements into functional designs using a



variety of methodologies: interviewing, modeling, proof of concept, and others. As an SAP domain expert, you will clearly define



business requirements and convert them into competitive, robust and flexible designs. This position is unique as you will be exposed



to all aspects and areas of SAP systems and modules such as S/4HANA On-premise, S/4HANA Cloud, Finance, SD and MM.



Job responsibilities include:



•Work closely with other Functional Consultants, Developers, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, Tax Research,



Customers and Prospects



•Review and analyze existing integrations and business processes and develop approaches for improving or further leveraging



these systems.



•Provide deep SAP domain know-how and act as an SAP expert at Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting for transaction tax



solutions and coordinate with other functional areas within the ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Global Application Suite to ensure a



full end-to-end Integration solution.



•Perform detailed analysis of business integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, and FI) feasibility and integration design.



•Prepare detailed Functional Specification documentation with use cases, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents to



explain requirements internally and externally.



•Support the product development process, working closely with Development, QA and Documentation teams throughout the



whole product life cycle, feature validating functionality, as well as preparing the rest of the organization for product release.



•Assist with end-user documentation, process flows, specifications, and diagrams to provide direction to customers, partners



and professional services, and support teams.



•Perform SAP application configuration settings and options (MM, SD, and FI).



•Maintain a solid working relationship with all departments within the organization, including Marketing, Engineering, Customer



Support, Sales, Professional Services and Tax Research and Partner relations.



•Support product rollouts and implementations as domain expert and/or primary business interface to other parties.



•Follow product into the field to ensure customer success, providing business and data integration expertise to customers,



partners and internal professional services personnel as needed.



•Assist in providing 2nd level support and training to Customer Support, Professional Services, and integration partners.



•Provide SAP business expertise in sales calls as needed.



Qualifications



Job and work experience requirements:



•Bachelors   in   Business   Administration   or   Computer   Science   or   equivalent   work   experience;   Formal   education   in



accounting/finance is desired.



•SAP configuration and implementation experience in either SD/MM or Finance modules using ECC and S/4 HANA is a must-



have



•Finance integration experience with at least one of SD or MM.



•At   least   3-5   years   of   experience   combining   analysis,   design,   configuration,   and   implementation   of   large-scale   SAP



implementations.



•2 full implementation life cycles either as a functional consultant, preferably including International/VAT deployments.



•Project management experience strongly preferred.



•Proficiency in SAP condition technique, pricing, and IMG configuration required.



•Strong analytical and design skills.



•Extensive, hands-on application configuration and design experience.



•Previous work with SAP tax interface highly desired (SAP Tax Service, SAP US/CA Sales & Use Tax RFC-based connector,



Global Next).



•Previous work experience within a software company a plus



•SAP Hybris, C/4HANA, Ariba and/or other ERP system experience is a plus.



Special skills and knowledge requirements:



•Prior implementation and support experience using Global Next connector – advantageous



•Understanding/experience with US Sales/ Use Tax and VAT/ GST - advantageous



•PCs and various software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project,)



•Ability to read and interpret ABAP code and work with database tools (such as DbVisualizer) a strong plus.



•Bug tracking and source code control applications preferred (JIRA, Confluence, Subversion)
