Details: Support the Office of Information Technology's Disaster Recovery team in creating, implementing, and executing Disaster Recovery Plans for New Jersey State Executive Branch agency's mission-essential systems impacting the financial, health, safety, and privacy of public and private sectors. Tasks: Performed detailed risk assessments and business impact analysis on infrastructure technology interdependencies and developed technical reports identifying gaps and providing recommendations. Perform client engagement work associating technologies with business processes identified through meetings with internal IT Operation teams, agency partners, and various levels of management to develop Disaster Recovery Plans and strategies. Review and analyze existing Client BIA's for Mission Essential and Critical systems for developing Disaster Recovery Plans.
Responsibilities: Document the relationships between business impact analysis, risk assessments, and meetings with business owners. Prepare and execute Disaster Recovery testing tasks. Developed training material related to Disaster Recovery. Develop IT DR Plans based on business impact analysis, backup strategy, disaster recovery, emergency procedures, and DR plan administration. Requirements: Knowledge of business continuity management principles, procedures, techniques, and disaster response. A combination of a background in IT disaster recovery with business continuity concepts is preferred. Worked in a team environment related to implementing a Business Impact Analysis. Has extensive working experience in creating IT Disaster Recovery Plans. Knowledge in the area of IT resilience, Emergency preparedness, Risk mitigation, Disaster response, IT infrastructure recovery, Disaster recovery documentation, Business impact analysis (BIA), Recovery time objective (RTO), Recovery point objective (RPO), High Availability, Redundancy, Disaster recovery frameworks, Vulnerability assessment, and Incident response. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation,
facilitation, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Decisive and a self-starter. Committed to the value of teamwork. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
