If you enjoy being part of a cohesive team, we are looking forward to you becoming one of our team members The Cell Therapeutics/ Apheresis RN performs director patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act with emphasis on nursing process and outcomes for cellular therapy and complex blood cancer patients. The RN is responsible for the delivery and management of patient care, education of the patient and family, providing/coordinating psychosocial/emotional support, and coordination of all aspects of care during the transplant and cellular therapy collection process. You will perform therapeutic apheresis and stem cell collection for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in compliance with The Joint Commission, FDA, & Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) standards. You will perform basic patient care includes accessing central lines and monitoring vital signs. Your role evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for patients in need of cellular therapeutic procedures. You will determine and appropriately cannulate venipuncture sites in order to administer intravenous therapy treatments. Your role will continuously strive to improve through formal and informal education. What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
