Inventory Clerk
Summary:
The Inventory Clerk manages and distributes equipment, materials, and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role ensures organized, efficient storeroom operations and a clean workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill and deliver orders to internal customers, verifying accuracy.
- Perform daily stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Receive shipments, verify transactions, and stock inventory correctly.
- Conduct system-generated cycle counts.
- Record transactions in the database and compile inventory reports.
- Maintain 24/7 coverage of the Sign-Out Window.
- Assemble Work Order Kits.
- Keep the assigned area clean and organized per 5 S standards.
- Report accidents, injuries, or safety concerns.
- Follow company policies and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years of warehouse or inventory experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
- Customer-focused mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
