Job Summary: As an Auto Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving bodily injury claims stemming from auto accidents. Your responsibilities will include conducting investigations, assessing liability, evaluating damages, and negotiating settlements to achieve fair and timely resolutions. Throughout the process, you will deliver exceptional service to claimants and other stakeholders.
In this role, you will analyze insurance coverage, liability exposures, and damage assessments, ensuring claims are resolved in accordance with established Best Practices and within assigned authority limits. We are seeking organized, strategic, and innovative professionals who thrive in a customer-focused environment. As a key point of contact, you will communicate with customers over the phone, guiding them through the claims process and supporting them in achieving the best possible outcome.

Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate auto bodily injury claims to determine liability, coverage, and damages.
- Review medical records, police reports, witness statements, and other relevant documents to make prompt and accurate decisions.
- Conduct interviews with claimants, insured parties, and witnesses.
- Evaluate the extent of injuries and calculate appropriate compensation within policy limits.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other representatives.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of claim files and activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Provide clear and empathetic communication with policyholders and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in auto bodily injury claims adjusting.
- P & C Adjusters License required.
- GA and /or NC license preferred.
- Non-Standard auto experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of insurance laws and regulations, including liability assessment and medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple claims effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in claims management software and standard office applications.
