Content Marketing Lead Staff Perm is seeking a Digital Content Marketing Lead will help identify process improvement for the inhouse creative marketing team. LOCATION: Richardson, TX 75080 POSITION: Contract SCHEDULE: 8AM - 5PM PAY: $50hr BENEFITS: PTO, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Term Life, Short Term Disability etc. Initially, you will help identify process improvement for the inhouse creative marketing team. Background: Our 2 visual designers are spending 30-40% of their time managing project details vs designing. Our 2 marketing specialists were intended to be the liaison and trafficker between designers and internal business units-but that process is not working well. Goal: We need to understand “why” process isn’t working by having this person do a deep dive and step into the PM role. Identify gaps in process or training. Make recommendations and implement recommendations (training, creating process, Smartsheet training, etc) SKILLS Needed: Process creation, operations improvement in a marketing creative team or agency Next project would be supporting our digital team. We are replatforming our website to a new platform. With that, we need help (1) understanding what opportunities we have in the system around content on the site and (2) creating a process to partner across marketing and with agencies to update content and messaging. Ultimately, this will inform a new full-time role for our team. Creative Project Management Traffic/Primary Duties: Manage efficient and effective execution of creative projects in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of projects Oversee creative staff workload and dispatch project requests according to creative team member’s skill and strength (expertise) Ensure project request forms are complete and in house design team has adequate information to kick off development with a laser focus on effective use of time Identify areas of concern within process and procedure that are driving inefficiency Propose optimization opportunities Provide traditional account management support for project initiators; this would include: Being the liaison or mediator between client (project initiator) and internal creative staff Interface on a daily basis with internal Functional Business Unit (FBU) departments to determine project parameters and timing Assign timelines, route, track status of projects and update production schedules in SmartSheets Oversee/review/approve/monitor and shepherd feedback of revisions requested between initiator and creative team Includes delivery of proper education/training/expectation setting of FBU teammates expectations. Position yourself as the company advocate and “go-to” for SmartSheet- our project management collaboration and workflow management tool. As the company advocate, you will be expected to deliver and help revise our existing training/retraining to entry level and mature users training. Additionally you are the voice of optimization and limitation for the tool and will be called upon to provide a point of view in terms of downstream implementation/execution. What users/scenarios dictate adoption of the tool and where should the tool be in limited use – in terms of the overall traditional project workflow. Prioritize responsibilities and create awareness for improvement opportunities in effective and efficient use of creative team for Brand Manager Including properly reporting things gone wrong (TGW) affecting job scheduling Monitor processes to identify gaps and implement corrective action Maintain process improvement and coordinate with other teams and management REQUIREMENTS Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years of related experience.
