Loan Officer Assistant

SNMC is looking to add a full-time Loan Officer Assistant. At least 2 years of experience is preferred, along with Encompass knowledge, high-energy and positive attitude.

Assist loan officers in gathering and reviewing loan application documents.

Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and provide updates on loan status.

Prepare and organize loan files for processing and underwriting.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the loan approval process.

Respond to inquiries from clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders in a timely manner.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to mortgage lending.
Requirements

Previous experience in a loan processing or administrative role, preferably in the mortgage industry.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage processing software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing procedures is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
