Machine Operator/Assembler

Primary responsibilities of this position:

The Machine Operator / Assembler is responsible for operating various machines and performing assembly tasks to ensure roller shades and associated hardware components are prepared accurately and efficiently. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

Operate pocket sealing machine for roller shade hembar.

Operate side sealing machine for roller shade hembar.

Laminate fabric onto the rolling tube.

Strap shades to prepare them for packing.

Assemble clutches, springs, and other hardware components onto shades.

Assemble and pack brackets, idlers, and other hardware components into hardware boxes.

Assemble external hembars, external hembar onto shades.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

Follow all company safety protocols and report any hazards immediately.

Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

Adhere to quality control standards to ensure proper assembly and packaging.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.

Previous experience operating machines or performing assembly tasks preferred.

Ability to read measurements and interpret work order instructions accurately.

Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Inpro Corporation
