Warehouse Manager-Government Contractor

Annapolis Junction, MD


Experienced Warehouse Manager - Government Contractor

3+ years of warehouse experience

Government contract experience

1+year of supervisory experience

Strong experience with shipping, receiving, auditing, and handling inventory control

Experience working with inventory software

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong troubleshooting skills

Experienced and comfortable working with Vendors

Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree


Oversee operations for large warehouse related to receiving, storing, and distribution of inventory

Act as Point for employees and clients

Manage and stage the operational, and logistical aspects of exbibits for clients

Manage the database platform for incoming and outgoing inventory and client exhibits

Reconcile inventories with physical counts

Maintain the tracking system to record stock levels and usage

Assist in the planning and coordination of transferring materials to and from the warehouse

Ensuring compliance of OSHA requirements.

Remaining current on transportation rates and facilities for areas serviced by the warehouse. Selecting and using those that consistently provide the best service.

Recommend and develop improvements to warehouse practices to save money and be more efficient

Assist with preparing budgets

Maintain files and documentation of all contract deliverables

Create and maintain inventory reports

Assist with audits and government inspections

Assist with other duties as assigned
