Description :

We are seeking a passionate and creative Equipment and Tool Engineer 4 to develop and validate complex equipment and tooling designs for aerospace production systems. This role involves recommending technical solutions, leading equipment and tooling definition, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This person will collaborate with Procurement to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets, conduct studies, and recommend asset disposition. Ideal candidates will have a strong drive for process improvement, enjoy working in the factory, and interacting with mechanics and safety personnel. Commitment to safety, quality, and integrity is essential.

Must Haves :

• 7 years of relevant experience
• Degree in STEM Engineering (ie. Aerospace/Aeronautical, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial)
• Experience with 3 D Modeling, generating 3 D models for fabrication and 3 D Printing (Solid Edge, Solid Works, NX, CATIA V5, or comparable)
• Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD& T)
• Professional experience troubleshooting and problem solving
• General machine shop knowledge - Lathe, CNC, Master CAM, etc.

Plusses :

• Experience developing and integrating mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical systems
• Proficiency with Auto CAD
• Experience with RSLogix (PLC Programming, Feature CAM, Control Center, Insight, Solidworks)
