Full-time or Part-time.
General Description: Fabricate new tooling and repair existing tooling. Perform machine set-ups and operate machine shop equipment.
- Must be skilled in utilizing Hardinge Bridgeport V series machines.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to produce tooling.
- Ability to set up and operate lathes, mills, grinders, and other shop equipment.
- Ability to work with tight tolerances.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to validate tooling dimension accuracy.
- Inspect existing tooling and fixtures, modifying or repairing as required.
- Determine materials required to produce tooling and fixtures.
- Requests heat treating of tools and parts.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Special projects as required.
- Other duties as required
