DESCRIPTION

The Quality Technician’s responsibility is to ensure companies’ standards for products meet and/or exceed customer requirements. The Quality Technician is involved in inspecting and testing both incoming products and materials as well as finished products and materials before they leave the warehouse. It will be the Quality Technician's responsibility to remove the unsatisfactory products and analyze them. The technician must be organized, and detail oriented for accurate data collection. It will be your responsibility to maintain calibrated testing equipment to ensure testing. You may be required to train others within the company as well. You will also be asked to help with other jobs around the warehouse wish as cleaning and packaging tubing as needed. It is a small company so everyone helps when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

●Inspect incoming products and materials

●Utilize borescope to analyze inside of tubing to ensure it meets customers specifications

●Inspect outgoing materials and record any findings

●Aware of AS9100/ISO9001 requirements and ensures products meet those goals before leaving the warehouse

●Fill in within the warehouse as needed to help clean and prepare tubing to meet customer specifications

IDEAL CANDIDATE

●High school diploma or its equivalent required

●Associate’s degree in quality technology or a related discipline preferred

●Analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

●Excellent communication and teamwork skills

●Excellent attention to detail

●Highly motivated self-starter
