On Track Staffing is looking for a Tool & Die Maker for their client in Lewisville, TX
Must Have:
- Current resume
- Pass drug test and background
- Ability to work the mandatory OT
- Ability to work in a non-climate control facility
Shift/Pay Range:
- Monday - Friday 5am to 2:30pm
- Pay Range: $22.00 to $30.00 hourly (based on experience
Summary:
- Fabricate, repair, maintain and/or rework all manufacturing internal and external dies used in the manufacturing facility. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties/Responsibility:
- Expert knowledge of machining and machine tools
- Ability to weld and fabricate items with mig and arc welding
- Working knowledge and use of all meters and gauges needed to perform all duties
- Working knowledge and proper use of all hand tools
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Must be able to work scheduled shift as well as overtime & weekends as required
- Must ensure internal and external dies used in the manufacturing process meets or exceeds tolerances required for shipped product
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, and facility/building issues
- Must be able to work as a member of the team
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Tech II - Vocational certificate in Machining/Tool & Die plus 1 year of working experience in tool & die or 3 years of working experience in tool & die
- Tech III - Vocational certificate in Machining/Tool & Die plus 3 years of working experience in tool & die or 5 years of working experience in tool & die
