Job Description:



Test Development Engineer - Manufacturing Software Tools



A Test Engineering application that requires knowledge of hardware manufacturing/Test and factory shop floor control systems (SFC)



Capable of managing an entire feature development through the software development lifecycle:



Understand Functional Specifications, independently Interact with high level guidance of the area lead in order to understand requirements of the project.



Be able to generate detailed software design documents and user guides and take them both through appropriate reviews and approvals



Add features and fix bugs in Python 3.x, adhering to standard Unit Test and Code Review processes and submitting code to version control



Track progress via Agile Scrum and bug tracking software



Qualifications



Senior software engineer capabilities: 7 years experience developing with any object oriented language: e.g. Python, Java or C++



3 years experience specifically developing in Python



3 years experience in development of software that control or tests hardware



Preferred Qualifications



Experience working in large, structured software development teams



Experience working across multiple distinct systems
