Working at a remote test site where we do dynamic sled testing to evaluate ejection seat systems. This role will be involved with building cabling and configuring data collection systems that support test and instrumentation needs at the site. Experience soldering and assembling cabling, circuits a must. Mechanical background a plus.

Hurricane Mesa Test Facility (HMTF) is a unique test site tasked with validating ejection seat systems and subsystems. Tests vary from sled track tests to seat-aircrew separation, braking system acceptance testing, and other energetic and subsystem performance tests. Sled tests involve state-of-the-art anthropometric manikins (akin to automotive industry manikins) at ejection velocities from zero airspeed/zero altitude to beyond the speed of sound (760+ mph ground speed).

Manufacturing is the production of merchandise for use or sale using labour and machines, tools, chemical and biological processing, or formulation. The term may refer to a range of human activity, from handicraft to high tech, but is most commonly applied to industrial production, in which raw materials are transformed into finished goods on a large scale. Such finished goods may be sold to other manufacturers for the production of other, more complex products, such as aircraft, household appliances, furniture, sports equipment or automobiles, or sold to wholesalers, who in turn sell them to retailers, who then sell them to end users and consumers.
