Engineering Firm seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Mechanical CAD operator/designer in Tulsa, OK. If you are looking for an opportunity to utilize your design skills and work in a team atmosphere, then this position is for you.

The Designer will work under the technical supervision of an engineer to gather data; prepare technical specifications; create detailed mechanical designs, bills of materials, and prepare construction drawings and other project documentation.

Major responsibilities of this position include creating and revising construction drawings needed to implement efforts for mechanical piping, civil, and structural systems. This includes: piping layouts, piping section views, structural supports, concrete foundations, and P&ID sets. Other responsibilities include: assisting mechanical engineering and/or project manager with development of construction drawing packages, researching and reviewing manufacturers’ specifications and assuring material compatibility with client and company processes and standards.

Should be able to perform with minimum supervision and complete assigned work within schedule and meet a high level of quality.

Software used for this position includes Auto CAD, Auto CAD Plant 3 D, CADWorx Plant, Tru View “lgsx” Scans, Navis and Excel. Education, technical training and experience will be taken into consideration per applicant.
