Medical Receptionist
Silver Spring
MUST:
2years of medical office experience
Experience checking patients in and out and collecting co-pays
Experience verifying insurance
Experience utilizing Athena EMR
Great customer service skills and positive attitude
Strong scheduling experience
Experience working in a very fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Great phone etiquette
Strong typing skills
DUTIES:
Duties of the medical receptionist include but will not be limited to the following:
Check patients in and out
Schedule appointments
Answer phones
Collection of co-payments
Verify insurance
Provide customer service
Assist the Practice Manager as needed
Enter and update information in Athena EMR
