Immediate need for a talented Ops Support / Regulatory Reporting. This is a 06+ Months / Part Time (20 hours per week) contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jacksonville, FL(Hybrid). Pay Range: $32.41/ hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).



Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the preparation, review and submission of regulatory report filings with the regulatory bodies.



Perform period over period variance analysis.



Ability to produce, organize and maintain workpapers that support regulatory reports and calculations that can pass an audit.



Assist in ad hoc projects as needed.



Assist in the preparation of cross report reconciliations.



Perform root cause analysis of identified issues and map out tactical and make strategic recommendations for process/control modifications.



Maintain strong relationships with key internal parties (Operations, Business Finance, and Financial Reporting) in support of the legal entity and regulatory reporting.



Identify and help solve business problems.



Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 



Self starer who is a quick learner.



Experience in the Finance sector is a huge plus.



Solid organizational, analytical and problem solving skills, aligned with attention to detail and time management.



Strong written and oral communication skills required.



Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strict reporting deadlines.



Ability to work with large sets of Data and SQL experience would be beneficial.



Proficiency in Excel must; knowledge of Alteryx would be beneficial.
