Work you will do: 

We have a need for a Project Manager with significant experience leading multi-stakeholder projects in the Pharmaceutical industry.

This role will report to the Director, IT Portfolio Management, ITES

Additionally, the candidate must have excellent time management skills to function in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating independent work skills, strong work ethic, and a passion for helping business units achieve their goals. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Communications and Citizenship team in managing projects within the portfolio from the various stakeholders across the business unit. The candidate will drive solution that deliver maximum value to the users.

Ideally the PM would have e xperience in running projects related to IT for Pharma, or IT for Internal or external communications.

This role will part of our portfolio management team to deliver value for the business stakeholders.

Role Specific Capabilities:

Experience in a client side communications or corporate social responsibility environment ideally within BioPharma

Experience with data lakes as part of the overall data transformation journey

Negotiation and prioritizations skills to manage demand

Essential Functions :

Responsible for activities of a highly complex nature, which may include small projects involving multiple project work streams, and act as a single point of contact for those activities

Actively manage small-scale projects directly with varying degrees of complexity.

Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solution of problems.

Communicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis; estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals; draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary; manage multiple projects as necessary

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables; develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations

Experience as the go-to-person and single point of contact for a specific process, product, function or system

Coordinate with IT and department managers to assess and track plans, status, etc. for on-time delivery of critical projects and programs; this includes assisting teams and the project teams in removing impediments and resolving cross-team issues


Formal Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent.

10+ years' experience as a Project Manager

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, subject matter experts, internal/external customers, and peers

Demonstrated ability to successfully rumimanage multiple activities simultaneously – prioritizing multiple activities and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
