Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Inspection Supervisor to lead our quality inspection team within adynamic aerospace manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of aerospace quality standards, demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, and apply a hands-on leadership approach to ensure product compliance with safety, reliability, and customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily inspection activities to ensure timely and accurate quality checks.
Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Review inspection documentation for accuracy and traceability.
Develop and maintain inspection plans and procedures, including FAIs and in-process inspections.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Train, mentor, and evaluate inspection personnel.
Facilitate internal and external audits, addressing findings and supporting improvement initiatives.
Monitor inspection metrics and KPIs, report findings to senior management.
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to minimize rework and scrap.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of aerospace manufacturing quality inspection experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
U. S. Person status per ITAR regulations
Proficient in GD&T, precision measurement tools, and visual inspection standards
Experience with ERP systems, SPC tools, and digital inspection platforms
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data.
Experience working with DCMA and FAA inspectors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certifications in aerospace quality
FAA Repair Station (Part 145) inspection experience
Internal audit and statistical analysis experience
Compensation Data
Pay Range: $85,898.00 - $107,372.00
