ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectations
All stages of inspection: 1st article, in process, final, and receiving.
Specify method of inspecting and validating the quality of FEP resins used in Melts products.
Specify method of inspecting and validating the quality of fluoropolymer resins used in Paste products.

Operation of Lab equipment






Maintain accurate records.


Proper use of measuring devices (measurement training required)
Lab testing
Certification generation

Quality Systems maintenance





Adhere to quality standards and guidelines. Maintain accurate records


Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5 S practices


Support calibration actions


Report quality issues to Plant Quality Manager


Perform work of an equal or lower classification


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


High School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English)


U. S. Citizen or permanent residency status required


2 years experience in Quality Lab preferred


Must be competent in basic mathematical and analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication.


Basic computer skills.


Ability to read and use various measuring devices (Calipers, Tape, Etc) without supervision


Some ISO knowledge preferred


Excellent teamwork and communication skills


Understanding basic lean fundamentals



Physical & PPE Requirements:

Standing, sitting, bending, lifts up to 30 lbs., walking. Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required PPE.
