Description

Quality Technician



6:00AM - 2:30 PM



Performs incoming or first article inspection.



Creates supporting records and reports.



Understand lot sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008.



Perform final/sterile release of products.



Perform in-process inspections. Perform label inspection. Perform DHR final review.



Perform specified functional inspection tests. Participate in cross-functional teams to solve quality issues.



Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.



Assist co-workers with training of Quality standards and requirements.



Operate and Program advanced measurement equipment for consistent inspection analysis.



Facilitate training for Operators, Supervisors, and other employees on use of new inspection equipment and/or processes.



Communicate inspection information to Operations and Quality personnel.



Identify Client (non-conforming report) and/or complete MRB activities.



Assist Quality Engineers in with data-gathering activities to support validations and/or studies.



Support Quality Engineers with conducting process and equipment verification and validation.



Able to conduct Quality Engineering studies and experiments.



Must have working knowledge of quality metrics and statistical metrics i.e. population mean, process capability and standard deviation.



Must be able to complete basic charts using Microsoft tools.



Must have an understanding of statistical tools and be able to identify outliers in data. Coach operations staff on Quality requirements.



Support Quality Engineering in maintaining Quality documentation (Inspection instructions, work instructions ,etc.). Assist Quality Engineers in writing new IPs for new processes.



Lead and support continuous improvement measures by providing technical information and reviewing processes as they are revised.



Perform calibration activities assistance. Perform/coordinate bioburden and microbial activities.



Conduct and conduct the quarterly bioburden audit requirements.



Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime as needed.



Quals--



A 2-year Engineering or Technical degree and 4-6 years of related experience is required, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.



CQT certification (preferred) Strong statistical, analytical and decision-making sense of urgency skills.



1 plus years of Metrology experience



Knowledge of ISO13485/FDA quality system regulations (preferred) Must be detail-oriented Must have knowledge and experience to operate the following:



Inspection tools



Caliper



Micrometer



Optical Comparator



CMMPd



Microscope



Must have the knowledge and experience to operate and program the following advanced measurement systems:



Vision System



SmartScope



Quality and Customer oriented.



Experience in coordinating activities among departments or groups(preferred).



Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.



Strong knowledge of development methodologies and problem solving skills.



Must possess a high degree of personal organization and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.



Knowledge of Microsoft Office.



CAD experience (preferred) Intermediate to advance computer skills as required to perform job duties.



Ability to perform required duties with minimum supervision.
