Tennis Center Customer Service Rep Description:

The ideal candidate possesses the ability to provide an exceptional customer service experience for the Sunnyvale tennis community by assisting with court reservations, racquet stringing, offering equipment recommendations, basic class placement advice to a diverse clientele. The ideal candidate is a friendly, customer focused individual who enjoys helping others and working in a positive team environment.

Duties include:

Conduct point of sale transactions

Help customers make court reservations and register for classes

Answer phones and provide information on programs and services

String racquets (training provided)

General cleaning/disinfecting of the pro-shop, courts, and restrooms

Must have reliable transportation

Must be willing to follow and enforce city and company Covid-19 procedures and precautions

Must submit and pass DOJ/FBI background screening

Skills / Experience :

Strong customer service / communication skills

Excellent phone etiquette and skills

Detail oriented and great work ethic

Friendly attitude and a desire to help people

Eager to learn

Knowledge of the following is a plus:

Tennis and the tennis playing community

Racquet technology and stringing (training available)

Point of sale and retail experience

Additional Skills:

Computer (Mac OS, Office Suite, Internet, E-mail, Club Automation - training available)

Positions offered:

$22

Possible Schedules:

PART TIME: 15-25 hrs/week

Weekdays PM

Weekends AM or PM
