Responsibilities:
Responsible for soliciting business for NOV Portable Power as directed by the Sales Manager
Conduct cold calls, follow up on leads, create sales opportunities, and close business
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across various industries and geographic areas through in-person interaction
Attend training at NOV facilities to become familiar with equipment, services, and company processes
Complete weekly sales call reports, monthly expense reports, mileage reports, and required documentation
Participate in Monday morning sales meetings and provide updates on sales activity and pipeline
Attend sales conferences, industry trade shows, and networking events to promote NOV Portable Power and build brand presence
Perform other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Preferred Background:
Experience in equipment rental or industrial outside sales environments
Experience working with contractors, construction, or industrial customers
Strong ability to build relationships, manage a sales territory, and drive revenue
Comfortable working in a field-based, customer-facing sales role
Familiarity with portable power, generators, or heavy equipment is a plus
