Operations Services Specialist
We are seeking an Operations Services Specialist to support a growing, modern banking operation with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service. You'll support both traditional banking functions and emerging digital financial products, contributing to the continued evolution of the organization's operational framework.
The Operations Services Specialist is responsible for handling a diverse range of back-office banking functions, including:
Managing and prioritizing daily work while maintaining full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Processing high-value transactions such as ACH payments, wire transfers, account openings and closings, cash letter returns, non-post overdraft items, check adjustments, and deposit verification.
Supporting exception processing, transaction research, rejected-item decisioning, and reconciliation.
Imaging client documents and performing accuracy checks to ensure completeness and audit readiness.
Preparing and processing manual cash letters and force-post items that cannot transmit electronically.
Monitoring for potential fraud, identifying irregularities, and escalating issues appropriately.
Documenting processes, updating procedures, and helping maintain internal knowledge resources.
Supporting both traditional consumer deposit products and emerging digital-asset-related services.
Managing small projects from start to completion, ensuring timely updates and organized documentation.
Minimum of 3 years of banking operations experience.
Strong understanding of retail banking processes, regulatory compliance, new accounts, teller-related policies, and client service standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and online banking platforms.
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.84 per hour
