Role Overview:



As a Senior Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in the design, analysis, and optimization of high-temperature equipment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of our products. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.



Responsibilities:



Lead the design and analysis of high-temperature equipment, such as furnaces, kilns, ovens, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, scrubber systems, and related components.



Utilize engineering principles, computational tools, and simulation software to model, analyze, and optimize equipment performance, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and structural integrity.



Conduct feasibility studies and provide input during the conceptual and detailed design phases of projects.



Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and project managers to understand project requirements and develop innovative equipment solutions.



Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure accurate manufacturing and construction.



Perform risk assessments, failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA), and safety evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.



Support manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting as needed.



Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, reviewing designs, and ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.



Stay updated with emerging technologies, materials, and industry best practices related to high-temperature equipment design and analysis.



Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to source components, conduct vendor evaluations, and ensure timely delivery of equipment.



Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.



Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.



Extensive experience in the design, analysis, and optimization of high-temperature equipment, including furnaces, kilns, ovens, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, scrubber systems, etc.



Strong knowledge of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and structural analysis.



Proficiency in engineering design software and simulation tools, such as CAD, FEA, CFD, and heat transfer modeling.



Familiarity with industry codes and standards, including ASME, API, NFPA, and other relevant regulations.



Proven experience in leading and managing complex engineering projects.



Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to resolve technical challenges.



Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and suppliers.



Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.



Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capability to mentor and guide a team of engineers.



Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
