Description





Establish relationships with the hardware and software engineering teams, PMO, Base operations repair teams, to drive rework activities in a timely manner.



Collaborate with Base operation technicians for validation activities, obtain feedback on the procedure to make improvements.



Develop detailed instructions using the process provided by engineering and based on the learnings from the validation activities.



Work with the PMO and Base operations repair team to schedule the validation activities per vehicle availability.



Work closely with the documentation team to finalize the instructions and publish them in the form of service bulletins.



Represent the Base Operations team in the RRB forum, provide updates for the on-going rework validation activities.



Identify rework process improvement opportunities.



Collaborate with the PMO to implement process improvements.



Responsible for ensuring the readiness of the rework before it is launched to the Base Operations repair team.



Responsible for conducting time studies of mechanical and electrical service procedures.



Responsible for maintaining the standard labor repair time guide.



 



Requirements



Demonstrated successful experience in collaborating with engineering teams to perform validation and/or testing.



Practical experience technical /field experience.



Ability to comprehend schematics, electrical diagrams, connector end views/pinout.



Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and/or equipment design experience.



Familiarity with vehicle communication networking protocols and tools.



Experience working on products through its lifecycle, product, and process validation.



Detail-oriented, including proven written and verbal communication skills.



Certificate, Diploma, or associate degree.



A degree in Automotive Technology or related field is a plus.



3-5 years of relevant experience in validation or testing components on a system level.



Ability to work autonomously to manage projects.
