Fastmarkets was founded in 1913 (as Metal Bulletin) and is a privately held UK-registered company. It is owned by global private equity firm Astorg, a specialist investor in healthcare, software, technology, business services and technology-based industrial companies.
JOB PURPOSE
This is a newly created role in the Fastmarkets HR team, reporting to our Regional Head of Operations, Bulgaria and our Head of HR Operations (based out of the London Office). The role will provide day-to-day office administration and transactional HR operations support to all colleagues across Bulgaria, ensuring that our processes continue to evolve to increase efficiency.
The role wIll take full responsibility for the execution of transactional HR administration, and project coordination, across a full range of HR activities including payroll, onboarding, pensions administration, compensation and benefits cycles, performance management, HR systems, right to work management and ad-hoc HR projects. The role will also be pivotal in supporting the Regional Head of Operations in Bulgaria in all day to day office and administrative duties, including travel, meeting management where needed, H&S and team events.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Working within the HR Operations team to provide HR administrative support to managers across the business and the HR team
Manage the HR inbox, acting as a first line response to our HR helpdesk queries
Manage the onboarding and offboarding administration and process
Set up and maintain personnel filing systems and database
Prepare and process employee life-cycle materials including issuing contracts, pre-engagement paperwork and checks and changes to terms and conditions
Support the Head of HR Operations with all aspects of HR administration i.e. creation of employee files and letters, orientation etc
Manage the visa/right to work application process
Create and run reports via HRIS and MS Excel, including maintenance of the monthly HR dashboard. Ensuring all data is entered in our system accurately and timely
Support with developing and maintaining content for the intranet
Benefit administration, enrolments, and facilitating employees to utilise their benefits. This will include running reports for benefit providers
Working closely with 3rd party payroll, managing HR information and processes relating to payroll processing
Take part in the implementation of Global and Local HR policies and procedures
Help coordinate training sessions
Work closely with the Head of Operations in managing all day-to-day administrative requirements in the office
Providing ad hoc support for travel, meeting arrangements and room bookings
Take active role in setting up H&S requirements
Take active role in organizing General Assembly of employees
Gain high level of knowledge of the labour and people related legal acts
